What’s on a dog’s record
Open any dog to edit its record. Only a name is required, the rest builds up over time:
Breed, sex and weight
Breed opens a searchable picker with your most-booked breeds up top.
Vaccination status
Up to date / Not up to date / Unknown, plus a last-vaccination date.
Vet
Practice name and phone number.
Notes
Free text, plus quick tags like Nervous, Muzzle and Matted coat.
Profile photos vs. before-and-after
A dog’s own photo, the one that helps you spot them in the day’s timeline, lives on the dog record itself. Before and after photos are different: they’re attached to each individual booking, so a dog that’s been in five times can have five separate before-and-after pairs, one per visit.
Where groom history shows up
History is organised by client, not by dog. Open a client’s contact card and the Recent section lists their last few bookings with date, service and status, with an All link through to the full list.
